ABOUT
Pro House Plants is the internet’s new source for gorgeous, unique houseplants. The team is on a mission to make plants accessible to everyone. They source plants from nurseries in the USA and ship nationwide.
Houseplants are so popular that their stock flies off the shelves. With their inventory constantly changing, the team wanted a website that they could easily keep up to date with new stock quantities. They also needed to be able to easily add new plants and
RESULT
We designed a new website for Pro House Plants with WooCommerce for their online store. Rather than building on a shopping platform such as Shopify, we designed Pro House Plants with WordPress in order to save them fees and better flexibility as they scale.
The site includes:
- Newsletter signup
- Coupon lead magnet
- Variable shipping zones
- Delivery rates based on cart size
- Analytics to track visitor activities
- Facebook Pixel integration
- Simple update process for inventory and stock changes
- Product templates to easily add new items as the store grow
The website is also mobile-friendly, making it easy for anybody to shop on the site no matter which device they’re using. Mobile-forward design was especially important throughout the development process, since the team uses Facebook and Instagram ads which mostly show to mobile visitors.
The site also includes GDPR-compliant Google Analytics, allowing us to track exactly how many visitors come through each month and how they interact with the site. With that data, we can optimize content and products to grow their business and increase audience engagement.
